With Xetra® and Börse Frankfurt, Deutsche Börse Cash Market operates two trading exchanges of national and international repute that are geared precisely to market members’ needs.

Xetra. The market.

Xetra® is the reference market for exchange trading in German shares and exchange traded funds (ETFs). No other exchange in the world achieves greater turnover at fairer market prices in these securities.

More than 90 per cent of all trading in shares at all German exchanges and almost 30 per cent of trading in ETFs in Europe is transacted through Xetra. With regard to DAX® listings, Xetra even has more than 70 per cent market share throughout Europe.

The price fixing on Xetra is conducted according to clearly defined and transparent rules. Trading participants who decide to trade through Xetra profit from highest liquidity and the fair prices of a major market place.

Börse Frankfurt is leading trading venue for German and international securities. Specialists on the trading floor attend to the trading of the securities. They ensure the immediate execution of orders and guarantee the best possible price.

  • “Continuous Auction with a Specialist” trading model
  • Extended trading times from 8 to 20 CET; differing from this are trading times for structured products (8 until 22) and for bonds (8 until 17:30). Effective 29 November 2021, the trading hours on Börse Frankfurt for shares, ETFs/ETPs and mutual funds will be extended to 8 until 22 CET. Trading hours for bonds, however, will remain unchanged.
