1.  Introduction

Xetra Contract Notes Reports applicable for the trading venues Xetra and Börse Frankfurt are currently available in SWIFT MT512 and in a related printable version. Due to limited usage, Deutsche Börse has decided to decommission the Xetra Contract Notes Reports in Q4 2023, as part of the T7 Release 12.0 scope. 

This decommissioning of Xetra Contract Notes Reports will affect only those Trading Participants who are still using the service and who are therefore required to take appropriate action. 

Please be aware that all adjustments on the Trading Participants’ side need to be completed by November 2023, as the decommissioning date coincides with the introduction of the T7 Release 12.0 in production.

2.  Required action

Affected Trading Participants should assess the impact of this decommissioning on their own systems (back-office infrastructure etc.) and adjust their internal processes in the course of the remaining time to become ready for the usage of the Xetra Trade Notification message for the trading venues Xetra (MIC: XETR) and Börse Frankfurt (MIC: XFRA), or alternatively the FIX LF Trade Capture Report or the TC810 T7 Daily Trade Confirmation report. These sources contain the information in a different format.

Trading Participants still using the Xetra Contract Notes service can evaluate the impact by comparing these manuals with the latest version of the T7 Release 10.1 Contract Notes Description, available on the Xetra website under the following link: Technology > T7 trading architecture > System documentation > Release 10.1 > Overview and Functionality. 

3.  Details of the initiative

The decommissioning of the Xetra Contract Notes Reports is due to the low usage of the service. The Contract Notes Reports will continue to be provided for a transitional period until Q4 2023. The delivery of the Xontro-specific contract notes is not affected by this change.
