Deutsche Börse Group is currently not planning to decommission the T7 GUI Landing Pages during the course of T7 Release 8.0 or T7 Release 8.1. That means that according to current plans, landing pages and JNLP files to launch the T7 GUIs will remain active at least until November 2020 (when T7 Release 9.0 will roll out).

Further details about the decommissioning timeline will be announced with sufficient lead time.

C.  Preparations for Friday, 15 November and Saturday, 16 November 2019

On Friday, 15 November 2019, T7 Release 7.1 will be in production for the last time. Reports for the business day 15 November 2019 can be expected at the usual time. On Saturday, 16 November 2019, Deutsche Börse will convert the T7 production system to Release 8.0 and initial reference data for business day 18 November 2019 will be available via RDI and RDF following the start of the system in preparation for the support window.

D.  Support window for T7 Release 8.0 on Saturday, 16 November 2019

The T7 Release 8.0 support window will be conducted on Saturday, 16 November 2019, between 15:00 and 17:00 CET. Participation during the support window is strongly recommended for all Participants and Multi-Member Service Providers to ensure connectivity for the start of trading on Monday, 18 November 2019. Please make sure that a staff member will be available to perform the login to the T7 production system (e.g. T7 Trader and/or Admin GUI and third-party applications).

At this time, the Xetra T7 production system will be available for connectivity testing on the RDI, ETI, MDI, EMDI and EOBI interfaces and via T7 Admin GUI and T7 Trader GUI. The FIX gateways will be available for session login only (no other requests will be possible). No order and quote entries will be possible. Heartbeats via the market data interfaces will be disseminated.

The support window can be regarded as successful when

  • a message “Connection Test Xetra <hh:mm:ss>” appears with an increasing sequence number in the market news view (news board) of the T7 Trader GUI and the T7 Admin GUI.
  • a successful session and trader login via ETI has been performed.
  • MDI/EMDI/EOBI/RDI heartbeats have been received.

Deutsche Börse will inform Participants about the general progress of the support window via Implementation News on the Xetra website www.xetra.com available under the link:

Following the end of the support window, the T7 Release 8.0 production system will be shut down on 16 November 2019 at 18:00 CET and will be unavailable until Monday morning, 18 November 2019.

E.  Monday, 18 November 2019 – Production start
