Dr. Jörg Zeuner took on the position of Chief Economist at KfW in September 2012. Having gained a Master of Science in Economics at the University of Glasgow, he then went on to complete a PhD in Economics at the University of Würzburg. Alongside his PhD, he was able to gather international work experience at the Korean-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, KfW and the World Bank in
Ethiopia.

Following this, he worked at the International Monetary Fund in Washington DC for almost 10 years, before becoming Chief Economist at VP Bank in Liechtenstein in 2008. Dr Zeuner also lectures at the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and the University of Bochum.
