CMP spring event: jointly developing initiatives for the capital market

Titel: CMP Meeting

Concentrated capital market competence in one room: this is how the spring event of Deutsche Börse Capital Market Partner on Monday in Frankfurt can be described. Renata Bandov, head of Pre-IPO & Capital Markets, welcomed around 30 representatives of service providers in the capital market.

In addition to ample networking opportunities, the team from Pre-IPO & Capital Markets offered them an overview of current Deutsche Börse initiatives. Deutsche Börse intends to further develop its segment for small and medium-sized enterprises (SME), Scale, within the framework of current EU standards, for example, by registering it as a recognised growth market for SMEs. This way, Deutsche Börse intends to raise awareness and reputation and contribute to the development of common EU-wide standards for such markets.

In the pre-IPO area, Deutsche Börse is responding to the fact that venture capital investors are increasingly coming from Asia and will be offering Investor Days in this region for the first time. The expansion of the Frankfurt stock exchange building will draw the attention of issuers, institutional investors, private investors and the general public even more strongly to Frankfurt as a business location.

The spring event has been firmly anchored in the network's calendar for many years. It is an active exchange between the Capital Market Partners and Deutsche Börse. Partners include banks, financial service providers, auditors, tax and legal advisors, IR and PR agencies, research houses, IPO consultants and Designated Sponsors. The joint initiatives include webinars, workshops, exclusive IPO workshops, forums and appearances at capital market conferences with a common goal: to develop and expand initiatives for the capital market as well as to inform and support issuers and exchange candidates.

Next on the agenda with/for Capital Market Partners, issuers and exchange candidates: stocks & standard workshop on 19 June in Eschborn on the topic of “Creditor relations – dealing with lenders and debt capital transactions”.
