First active ETFs from iShares on Xetra: Sustainable multi-asset investments in ETFs

As of Thursday, three active Exchange Traded Funds issued by iShares are tradable on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt for the first time.

With the BlackRock ESG Multi-Asset Conservative Portfolio UCITS ETF EUR (Acc), the BlackRock ESG Multi-Asset Moderate Portfolio UCITS ETF EUR (Acc) and the BlackRock ESG Multi-Asset Growth Portfolio UCITS ETF EUR (Acc), iShares offers the opportunity to invest in three actively managed ETF portfolios that take sustainability criteria into account.

Each of the three portfolios follows a multi-asset strategy. In addition to equity and bond investments, precious metals and money market securities are also included in the investment universe. Bonds and companies are evaluated using common environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria.

The three ETFs are differentiated by the risk taken, which is defined by the annual fluctuation of the fund's returns. Investors in the Conservative portfolio, for example, tolerate an annual fluctuation margin of two to five percent, while in the Moderate portfolio five to ten percent and in the Growth portfolio ten to 15 percent are tolerated.
