First active equity ETFs from BNP Paribas on Xetra: access to the US and Japanese equity markets with an ESG focus

Three new exchange-traded funds from BNP Paribas Asset Management have been tradable on Xetra and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since today.

The BNP Paribas Easy Sustainable US UCITS ETF in the two share classes EUR and USD Capitalisation pursues an active investment strategy based on the S&P 500 Index. The focus is on the 500 largest listed US companies.

The BNP Paribas Easy Sustainable Japan UCITS ETF EUR Capitalisation offers investors access to the Japanese equity market and bases its stock selection on the MSCI Japan Index. Investors can trade this ETF flexibly in the desired currency, euros or US dollars, using the same ISIN. The trading currency can be selected via an individually assigned stock exchange code.

The investment manager takes ESG criteria such as energy efficiency, reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, waste processing, compliance with human and labour rights and fair corporate governance into account in the portfolio composition of all three ETFs.
