New SPDR ETF on Xetra: Access to Chinese government bonds

Since Thursday, a new exchange traded fund of the issuer State Street Global Advisors is tradable via Xetra and Börse Frankfurt.

The SPDR Bloomberg Barclays China Treasury Bond UCITS ETF gives investors access to the market of fixed-income and renminbi-denominated Chinese treasury bonds.

For inclusion in the index, debt instruments must have a minimum outstanding volume of 100 billion renminbi and a maximum remaining maturity of one year. In addition, only bonds from mainland China that are traded on the Chinese interbank bond market "CIBM" are taken into account.
