New UBS ETF on Xetra: Sustainable investment worldwide
Since Wednesday, a new exchange traded fund issued by UBS Global Asset Management has been tradable on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt.
The UBS ETF (IE) MSCI World Socially Responsible UCITS ETF (hedged to EUR) A-acc invests in large and medium-sized companies from 23 industrialised nations that meet ESG sustainability criteria. Companies with significant business activities in nuclear energy, tobacco, alcohol, gambling, weapons and genetically modified organisms are excluded from the index. In addition, the weighting of one share is limited to a maximum of five per cent. Earnings are reinvested and hedged against currency risks against the euro.
