New UBS ETFs on Xetra: sustainable US companies from S&P 500
Two new exchange traded funds issued by UBS Global Asset Management have been tradable on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt since Friday.
With the UBS ETF (IE) S&P 500 ESG Elite UCITS ETF (USD) A-acc, investors invest in currently 100 companies from the S&P 500 index that are classified as sustainable regarding ESG criteria. The composition of the companies reflects a similar sector weighting as the original index.
It excludes companies that violate the UN Global Compact and have significant business activities in the areas of nuclear energy, fossil fuels, tobacco, thermal coal, alcohol, gambling, weapons, or genetically modified organisms.
The UBS ETF (IE) S&P 500 ESG Elite UCITS ETF (hedged to EUR) A-acc offers investors a currency hedge against the euro.
