New active ETF by AXA on Xetra: investment in corporate bonds with investment grade rating in alignment with the Paris Agreement
Since Tuesday a new active exchange traded fund by AXA Investment Managers is tradable on Xetra and via the Börse Frankfurt trading venue.
The AXA IM Euro Credit PAB UCITS ETF pursues an active investment strategy and mainly invests in corporate bonds with fixed as well as floating rates, which are denominated in euro and have an investment grade rating.
When selecting bonds, investment managers pursue a top-down and a bottom-up analysis at a time to define the combination of sectors within the portfolio. Sectors are selected based on a comprehensive micro- and macro-economic market analysis, which is based on fundamental factors such as expected earnings, cash flows, interest or dividend cover or capital cover.
In addition, the fund pursues a decarbonisation strategy to meet the requirements of the Paris Climate Agreement. To do so, issuers that do not contribute to meeting the climate targets are excluded.
