New bond ETF from Deka on Xetra: access to green bonds from European companies
Since Wednesday, a new exchange-traded fund issued by Deka has been tradable on Xetra and via Börse Frankfurt.
With the Deka iBoxx MSCI ESG EUR Corporates Green Bond UCITS ETF, investors have the opportunity to participate in the performance of green bonds issued by European companies in euros.
The fund invests exclusively in bonds issued by companies that commit to using the proceeds generated entirely to finance environmental and climate protection measures. Currently, 90 bonds from 61 investment grade issuers from Europe are considered.
In addition, bonds issued by companies that violate ESG criteria are excluded. These include serious violations of the UN Global Compact or the production of weapons.
