New iBonds ETFs from iShares on Xetra: Fixed maturity ETFs on euro-denominated corporate bonds maturing in 2025 and 2027
Since Wednesday, two new exchange-traded funds issued by iShares have been tradable on Xetra and via the trading venue Börse Frankfurt.
With the addition of two new share classes to the iBonds ETF product family, iShares is expanding its range of maturity ETFs. An iBond ETF invests in a basket of bonds with a similar maturity date to the ETF itself. At maturity, the ETF is liquidated and paid out to investors. Interim interest payments can be distributed or reinvested, depending on the share class.
The two new ETFs invest in a broadly diversified portfolio of euro-denominated investment grade corporate bonds. The term of the two ETFs ends in December 2025 and December 2027, respectively, and the interest payments will be distributed.
