New iShares ETF on Xetra: access to the Chinese bond market
Since Monday, a new exchange-traded fund issued by iShares has been tradable on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt.
The iShares China CNY Bond UCITS ETF offers investors direct access to the Chinese bond market. The portfolio consists of CNY-denominated fixed income investment grade bonds issued by China's Ministry of Finance and Chinese policy banks (government entities that are not explicitly state-guaranteed).
It is a distributing share class that minimises the exchange rate risk against the euro.
