New iShares ETFs on Xetra: Sustainable low volatility stocks on US companies and worldwide

Since Thursday, two new exchange traded funds issued by iShares have been tradable on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt.

The iShares Edge MSCI USA Minimum Volatility ESG UCITS ETF enables investors to invest in a selection of medium-sized and large companies from the USA, taking into account sustainability criteria and volatility risks. From the equity universe of the MSCI USA index, companies are first selected that meet ESG criteria such as exclusion of gambling, weapons or tobacco, but in particular, the lowest possible CO2 emissions are considered. Subsequently, equities are filtered out using a minimum volatility strategy in order to minimise the volatility of the portfolio.

The iShares Edge MSCI World Minimum Volatility ESG UCITS ETF enables investors to extend these sustainability and volatility filters to global equities. After the shares of the MSCI World index have been tested for sustainability, a minimum volatility strategy is additionally applied.
