Two new fixed income ETFs from iShares on Xetra: access to the bond market for corporate bonds with currency hedging against the euro

Since Friday, two new exchange-traded funds from iShares have been tradable on Xetra and via the trading venue Börse Frankfurt.

The iShares GBP Corp Bond 0-5yr UCITS ETF EUR Hedged invests in a portfolio of investment grade sterling-denominated corporate bonds. It takes into account bonds with a remaining maturity of between 0 and 5 years and a minimum amount of £100 million issued by industrial, utilities or financial companies worldwide.

The iShares USD Short Duration Corp Bond UCITS ETF EUR Hedged offers investors access to corporate bonds with a maturity between 0 and 5 years, which are issued in US dollars and have an investment grade rating. The sectors represented here also include industrial, utilities and financial companies. Both ETFs aim to minimise exchange rate risk against the euro.
