LBBW is the central bank of the savings banks in Baden-Württemberg, Rhineland Palatinate and Saxony.

What we do

LBBW runs the national and international capital market business and provides services in international business. Using the BW-Bank brand, LBBW runs retail banking activities as well as banking services for corporate clients, focused on medium sized customers. The range of services and products offered by LBBW is enhanced by subsidiaries within the Group specializing in specific business areas, such as leasing, factoring, asset management, real estate and equity funding.

What makes us different

As a universal and commercial bank LBBW is commited to a long-term client relationship. Besides our comprehensive range of capital market services LBBW is a reliable banking partner for our customers.

Corporate Responsibility

The economy, the environment and the lives of each of us individuals are inseparably entwined - in our immediate surroundings, across borders, and around the world. Progress and economic success can be achieved for individuals and society as a whole far into the future only by creating stable and sustainable societal and ecological conditions. This applies equally to LBBW: We view sustainability as synonymous with the ability to cope with future challenges. "Guidelines for Sustainability" developed by LBBW's Sustainability Council and approved by the Board of Managing Directors place individual responsibility at the forefront. These Guidelines support individuals in actively focusing on transactions and projects that positively influence our Bank's sustainability balance sheet and provide a concrete framework for implementing LBBW's sustainability goals. As a result, the risk/reward profile of sustainability will become more clear-cut for the Bank.
